Why do all good things come to an end?

Honestly what will become of me
don't like reality
It's way too clear to me,
but Really
Life is daily
We are what we don't see
Missed everything day-dreaming

Flames to dust
Lovers to friends
Why do all good things come to an end?
Flames to dust
Lovers to friends
Why do all good things come to an end?
Come to an end Come to an...
Why do all good thing come to an end?
Come to an end Come to an..
Why do all things come to an end?

Travelling, I Only stop at exits
Wondering if I'll stay
Young and restless
Living this way,
I stress less I want to
Pull away when the dream dies
The pain sets in and
I don't cry
I only feel gravity and I wonder why

Flames to dust
Lovers to friends
Why do all good things come to an end?
Flames to dust
Lovers to friends
Why do all good things come to an end?
Come to an end Come to an...
Why do all good thing come to an end?
Come to an end Come to an..
Why do all things come to an end?
Well the dogs were barking at the new moon
Whistling a new tune
Hoping it would come soon
And the sun was
Wondering if it should stay away for a day,
'til the feeling went away
And the sky was falling and the clouds were dropping
and the rain forgot how to bring salvation
the dogs were barking at the new moon
Whistling a new tune
Hoping it would come soon so that they could die.

This was our last picture together. It was taken on 16th January 2007 at 8.28am at McDonalds KLIA. This was the day that Ciwi flew off to Canada to continue his PhD. We cried our eyes off, we knew that things would change forever, but we did not sit to ponder how much.

And the truth is, so much have changed since that day.

Ciwi been busy with his PhD at University of Calgary, Canada.

Dale got married and now he's busy with his PhD at University of New South Wales, Australia.

Illani got engaged in March this year and when she's married, she's leaving me too.

We stayed in touch thru emails, and occasionally calls each other. Me and Illani still went out together with Azie too, sometimes Illani spent the night at my house. Hmm... 1 by 1, they are leaving. Azie will be going for his PhD too. I guess by next year I'll be alone here.

Best Friends

Friends are someone who are always there
You may have faults but they'll always care
And when you're down and life is bad
They'll share it with you and also be sad
But when you are happy and life is so much fun
They sing with you, and dance, and be out in the sun
1 good friend in the whole of your life
Can get you through troubles and strive
So value your friends with all your heart
and
Don't let anything
Keep you apart

LaLa of LaLaLand

Let me introduce you to my little angel. This is Lala, my fat cat. See that, her head is almost as big as mine. I don't really know how old she is but she's been with us for almost 3 years now, given to me by a friend. She's a drama queen, eats a lot (Whiskas' Ocean Fish), poops a lot and sleeps a lot.

Because of her, all the carpets in my house have been replaced with bamboo mats for easier cleaning as she got her fur all over the house. This year my mom says she plans to change all our plush sofas into wooden ones as she'd scratched them all into shreds. She's very naughty and always up to a mischief or 2 a day, depending on her mood. Yes, she's extremely moody sometimes.

Lala sleeps like a person, she's really fun to watch when she's sleeping. She has nightmares too sometimes and would roll off the table or chair that she was sleeping on. I don't let her sleep with me as she'll be very nosy and starts going through my stuff when I'm sleeping. She's smart, watched tv and knock doors when she's hungry or when she wants to get into any room in the house and also when she's curious of what we're doing in our rooms. She's an attention seeker and loves to be admired. When we have guests at our house, she'll be sure to strut her stuff and show off.

She claimed that this red couch belongs to her, though it does not have her name on it. I bet if she could write, she will write her name on it. If she likes you, she'll let you sit on her couch but if she doesn't, she'll make sure that you get up and find yourself another seat. I have friends whom she had pushed off the chair a few times and lived to tell the tale haha

She hates 2 things; no 1 is other cats, particularly the ones that she thinks are 'too friendly' with us, and no 2 the vacuum cleaner, she'd ran away the moment its on. She likes people who hates cats. She love driving them crazy. My friend Hasfa and my cousins, Kak Chik (Zamrud) and Wana have experienced Lala's torture sessions which left them running and screaming all over the house.

I love you LALA

A Hippo with A Voice

I bought these karaoke CDs during my shopping trip on Labour Day holiday few days ago. I like Rossa (bottom right) but I don't actually like Siti (the other 2) though some of her songs were good. But I have no choice coz people like her songs. What happen was, on 25th April 2008 was our PETRONITA 9th Annual General Meeting. I was suppose to sing 3 songs; More Than Words (solo) and Flying Without Wings and Seasons In The Sun (group). At the very last minute, we were told to add a few Malay song, particularly a Joget song into our performance. Jai provided us with a Siti's Karaoke CD and we tried a few songs. Though we sounded ok, I hated the fact that we're performing this song unprepared and the fact that I don't really know the songs really kills me, plus I was not feeling well and have been having flu and coughing for almost a month.

We still sang the song but I was not very happy with it. I've been singing for quite a few of my company functions, usually to songs that I know by heart. I prefer English songs. I guess I need to add more songs to that and learn more Malay songs. So when I went out shopping, I bought these CDs so that I can practise them, and maybe, actually like them. Some of the songs were ok but the notes are quite high so I need to practise that too. Somebody told me that I will be singing for UTP's Convo this August. So far nobody approach me on that so I think it is just a rumour as usually students did all the singing. I don't want to sing for Convo, I prefer to be in the working committee, which I normally did for the past 3 years. I hope they won't ask me. Azie told me he'd like to try out for Convo's MC and asked me to come along. I don't like to be an MC. I prefer singing but I don't want to let him down. So I guess I'll give it a go. Azie is a very extremely great MC. He's got the complete package for it; the looks, the voice, the charisma and even the suit. Me.. I'm just a fat hippo with a voice.
Here are some of the functions that I have graced with my voice with hehe. These were taken with my camera. There's more but its with the company's photographer. Wonder when I'll get those? Hmm... I wish I could loose some weight. I really looked like a hippo with a microphone, right?

Giorgio Armani Makeover 2007

I had another makeover with Giorgio Armani at KLCC last June 2007. I was in KL for the PETRONAS Corporate Volleyball player selection. After a very tiring and extremely exhausting game in the morning at Titiwangsa, I just needed to blow off some stim, so I went to KLCC alone. When I got there, Armani was having a huge new men's perfume launch, Armani Attitude. I tried it and the smell was superb, plus it came with a makeover package. I decided to buy 1 for Ciwi's birthday. He gave me 2 Elizabeth Arden's perfume (Sunflower and Green Tea) and also a Davidoff Coolwater earlier and I haven't got him any yet. I bought an Armani Code for me. I got so many free perfume samples and an Armani bag, but the most valuable of all is the makeover and the photoshoot that came together with it. Here's the shot. Actually, I only got 1 printed picture. I decided to pay for it and got 6 pictures, both printed and softcopy. So, how do I look? The makeup artist from Bobby Brown had a tough time covering up my sunburnt face. I've been practising hard for the volleyball selection, which caused the burnt-up face, I got the job, plus we were champions later in the games in July 2007.

Christian Dior Makeover Memoirs

While I was shopping, I stopped at Christian Dior at Jusco and tried a new perfume, Poison Midnight. According to the salesgirl, it was out last December but since I haven't been shopping for a while, how would I know that, right? I've got all the Poison perfume except for this one. My favourite is Hypnotic Poison which makes me feel so sexy. This Midnight smells so mysterious. I was thinking of buying it but I've reached my shopping budget so I have to skip.

I want to share some pictures that was taken during a Christian Dior Makeover Promotion in Penang few years back... well, not exactly few years back, I think it was taken between 1999 or 2000. I love makeovers. Its when I get to be beautiful for an hour and nothing else matter. How do I look?

This one wearing the black dress was the one that was submitted for the Ms Dior Contest that day hahaha, but the pic submitted was without the hand. The hand gave me away don't you think so? It shows that the real me is a fatty and not a hottie. The picture was up at the Christian Dior Counter for almost a month. I brought a few friends to see it, they didn't believe it was me, even when the salesgirls said so haha. Am I really that bad in person???? I weigh 132kg at this time too.

Shopping Day 1/5/2008

I shopped till I dropped today. Really great. I got my 'kutu' money. So I've already planned to go all out shopping. I went out with Aaryenne and Heri Roziana, the Petroleum technicians. We left at 1pm and began our shopping in Jusco. It was filled to the brim with people. We had lunch at Secret Recipe. I bought a trolley full of stuff, cat food, detergent, shoes, books, some stationaries, and other stuff. I can't find my memory stick adapter so I can't transfer the pictures. I'll do it later. After Jusco, we continued our exploration to Tesco where more stuff were bought and more money spent. We got home at 11pm.
